Saw the phone and suddenly
My destiny was calling me…

For years I dreamed of getting a phone. Because I was a dog, I had to write letters. And since I didn't have money for stamps, I had to rely on my trained carrier pigeon, Cecil.

Cecil's great… but he doesn't always get the address right. All my letters I thought were delivered to The White House actually went to a small woolen hat in Ecuador.

What to do? I had this great idea for a TV show, but couldn't risk sending Cecil to the TV Station because my letter might wind up in a candy shop in Moscow instead. So I waited until Mrs. Taylor (my "person"), left the phone outside, unattended.

Finally, one summer day, at 12:03 p.m., I got my chance! I grabbed the phone and (I'm not proud of this) ordered Chinese takeout. It was tasty! But it would be another YEAR before I could get that phone again…
