Supplies

  • Spoon
  • Bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 ice cream cones
  • 1 cup low-fat ice milk or frozen yogurt
  • ½ cup low fat fruit-flavored (NOT frozen) yogurt
  • 1 tsp. sprinkles
  • A few pieces of chopped fresh fruit

Directions

  1. Place ½ cup (1 scoop) of frozen yogurt in bowl.
  2. Spread ¼ cup of yogurt on outside of wide part of cone and then sprinkle with sprinkles to make a decorated hat.
  3. Turn cone upside down on top of frozen yogurt to place the “hat” on the frozen yogurt.
  4. For added fun, use chopped fruit to create a face on the frozen yogurt scoop.

Note: Parents may need to scoop the frozen yogurt in order to moderate portion and in case it’s too solid, but kids can add the sprinkles, place the hat in place, and create a face!
