IML Quick Discussion Guide: Solo Sports

Prior to using this Quick Discussion Guide, you and your child may want to do any or all of the following activities on "It's My Life":

  • Read the "Solo Sports" article

  • Work together to come up with a "You Said It" submission for this topic.

  • Together, play the "Create-A-Story" activity or print and complete the Crossword Puzzle.

  • Print out the IML Journal page "Solo Sports." Complete it together or encourage your child to complete it on his/her own.

Discussion Questions:

  • Is there a "solo sport" that you're interested in trying?

  • Why do you think you would enjoy this more than other sports? What do you think you would get out of it?

  • What did you like about sports you've played in the past? What did you dislike about them?

  • Would it help we found a new "solo sport" that we could do together?
