Ndebele House By Katlego Mothupi
This is a typical house made by the Ndebele people. It is round and very strong. The walls are made from a thick and hard mud-mixture like cement and the roof is a very thick grass-thatch. It stays cool in the summer. |

| Welcome to Winterveldt: This is where we live. It is about 30 miles north of Pretoria, the capital city of the Republic of South Africa. The people in this area are mostly Ndebele, which is one of the tribal groups in the northern part of South Africa. There are also Tsonga and Tswana people living in the area. The students at Ngaka Maseko High come from around the Winterveldt area. |
