Angelina's Tutu Treat

Goody bags make great party favors for all of your guest, and are even more special when they’re made by the birthday child!

Supplies

  • 4-1/2" long cardboard tubes (toilet tissue rolls)
  • Pink tissue paper
  • 12" x 5" piece of pink tulle (nylon or cotton veil material)
  • Pink satin ribbon
  • Safety scissors
  • Double-sided tape
  • Stapler
  • Assorted candies

Instructions

This is a great craft for the birthday child and a grown-up to do together!

  1. Roll each cardboard tube in a sheet of pink tissue paper and secure with double-sided tape. Tuck the excess tissue into the tube and set aside.
  2. Fold tulle into thirds. Cover the bottom of the tube with the tulle and ask a grown-up to help secure it with double-stick tape and staples.
  3. Fold another line of tulle (also about 12 inches) into thirds and cut a slit through the center. Insert the tube into the tulle and secure with double-sided tape, making a ballet skirt.
  4. Tie the satin ribbon around the top of the skirt, making a big bow in the back.
  5. Fill each tube with assorted candies, and hand out to your guests to take home as party favors!
