Homemade Birthday Card

Nina shows you how to make a birthday card out of construction paper, crayons and markers.

Materials

  • Construction paper (two different colors)
  • Pencil
  • Crayons
  • Markers
  • Craft glue
  • Safety scissors

Instructions

  1. Fold one of the pieces of construction paper in half, making a card.
  2. With the help of a grown-up, write the age of the birthday girl or boy on the other piece of construction paper and cut out the number with safety scissors.
  3. Decorate the number with crayons or markers.
  4. Glue the number to the front of the card.
  5. Write a special birthday greeting on the inside of your card and give it as a gift to your favorite birthday girl or boy.
