Bottle Cap Ladybugs

 Supplies

• Bottle caps (water and soda bottle tops work best)
• Red and black paint
• Paint brush
• Small black pom-poms
• Black twisty tie or pipe cleaner
• Craft glue
• Safety scissors

Instructions 

1. Paint your bottle cap red to make the ladybug’s body. Once the cap is dry, paint small black spots and a thin black line across the body.
2. Glue a black pom-pom at either end of the black line to be the ladybug’s head.
3. Have a grown-up help you cut half an inch of black twisty tie or pipe cleaner. Fold the antennae and glue it to the ladybug’s head.
4. Make as many as you wish and start your very own ladybug family!
