Materials
- An empty oatmeal box
- Red and black construction paper
- Pencil or marker
- A plate or bowl (to help you draw a circle)
- Scissors
- Glue stick or tape
- White Paint
Instructions
1. Trace a circle that is larger than the bottom of your oatmeal box.
2. With the help of a grown-up Sprout, cut out the circle and cut a slit to the center of the circle.
3. Overlap the edges of the slit to create a roof for the silo. Tape or glue the edges together.
4. Cover the oatmeal box with red construction paper and glue or tape the roof to the top.
5. Decorate the oatmeal box with white paint to make it look like a silo.
