Ingredients
- 4 ounces blueberries, washed
- 4 ounces raspberries, washed
- Juice from 1/2 lemon (remove seeds)
- 4 teaspoons sugar (add or remove for desired sweetness)
* Any berries will do.
Directions
- Mix the berries together with the sugar and lemon juice.
- Blend or mash the berries.
- Transfer the berry mixture to a pot and cook for approximately 20 minutes on a very low heat.
- Let the fruit spread cool and then chill to desired temperature.
Tip: Let the fruit spread cool longer for a thicker consistency. Add water or apple juice to make it thinner like syrup.
