Friendly Monster Mask

Supplies

• Paper plate
• Paper fasteners
• Construction paper, plain or colored
• Colored pencils, markers or crayons
• Craft glue or tape
• Safety scissors
• Any other decorations that will make your mask one-of-a-kind!

Instructions

1. Imagine what kind of silly, goofy, friendly monster you would like to be.
2. With the help of a grown-up Sprout, use a crayon or marker to mark the spot where your eyes, nose and mouth are on a paper plate.
3. Ask a grown-up Sprout to help you cut out the places you marked in your mask.
4. Color and decorate your mask to look as fun and silly as you would like.
5. Tape pieces of string or yarn to the sides of the plate and ask a grown-up Sprout to help tie the mask around your head.  Enjoy your adventures as a friendly monster!
