Its a Sad day in the neighborhood, as PBS has decided to remove the show throughout our nation. No more Mr Rogers neighborhood every day. They have replaced it with "better and more current programing." What nonsense. Fred Rogers is a timeless and rewarding show, and should continue on for years to come. My local PBS is gracing us with one show a week, on Sunday mornings. Please send a note to PBS, both locally and nationally and express your thoughts on this decision. Dave - Avon Lake, Oh

As a child, I had a heart condition that required lengthy, frightening hospital stays and several painful operations to repair. Mr. Rodgers' was my favorite person in the whole world, and I was delighted that he made time to visit me (and the other children) in the hospital in Pittsburg, PA. He made the situation much more pleasant for me. I was 6 years old, and I have always been grateful that he kept my spirits high during that time. He is missed. Amanda - Augusta, GA
