5. Rain Cleans the Air and the Earth
Take a rain walk during a light rain if possible or soon afterwards.
Be sure children are protected from the weather.
Have the children utilize all of their senses.
Be sure they take time to smell and taste the differences in the air.
Look for a rainbow in the sky.
Notice the drops of rain on spider webs and leaves.
Feel the dampness in the air and if everyone has boots on, test the puddles.
