“Big Tess,” you say, “I have a crush on Susie, and I don’t really know what to do
about it.”
“Well,” replies Tess. “In my experience, when a fellah likes a gal, or vice versa, the only smart thing to do is to come out and say it.”
“But what if she doesn’t feel the same way?” you ask.
“Well, that’s gonna hurt as bad as fallin’ into a cactus,” Tess says, “but eventually the pain will go away. What’s worse is never knowing whether or not Susie likes you too, and spending the rest of your life wondering what could have been.”
You realize that Tess is right, and make a promise to tell confess your crush to Susie the first good chance you get.
