You’ve just fallen on your butt in front of your crush, and she’s laughing about it! You feel yourself getting red in the face, but decide that the best thing to do is laugh along with her. It is kind of funny, when you think about it.
“Guess I should’ve worn a little extra padding in the seat,” you say. “You want to give me a hand?”
Susie, now smiling, helps you get up. “I hope you’re a little more graceful on the dance floor,” Susie says, “because I was thinking of asking you to the Rodeo Dance.”
You wouldn’t have thought that your face could get any redder, but it does.
“Uh...” is all you can say.
“I’ll take that as a yes, you big smoothie,” says Susie.
