The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, just across the street from the Explora. So, while you're in the neighborhood...
Check out Timetracks, an 8-exhibit-hall display that takes visitors on a journey through New Mexico from the formation of the universe to the present day. (You'll see plenty of dinosaurs along the way!) Other galleries feature: Startup, an exhibit dedicated to the microcomputer; Making Tracks on Mars, where a full-scale model of the Rover is on display; and FossilWorks, where you can watch dinosaur fossils being extracted from rock.
The Naturalist Center is a place to touch specimens and explore the natural world of New Mexico.
