The Dogon call the ANTELOPE mask a WALU, it is
believed that the first successful hunting party came back with an antelope. If you want to do the Dogon WALU dance, put on the mask, and strike the ground with your hand. This represents an antelope grazing on grassy plains. |

Here are 6 easy steps to make an ANTELOPE MASK of your own:
1. CLICK to get the color or black & white mask.
2. PRINT OUT the mask that opens on the new page.
3. COLOR it, or add some glitter, or other decorations.
4. PASTE it on cardboard, like an empty cereal box.
5. CUT IT OUT (younger kids should get an adult to help).
6. TIE SOME STRING on and put it on!
