FIRST SEASON
101 Snack Time
In our first Blue's Clues adventure, something is missing from Blue's snack
and we play Blue's Clues to figure it out. We also take time to recognize
colors as we paint elephants, we identify the shapes of fruit, and we help
match chicks on a farm.
102 What Time Is It for Blue?
What time is it now? We play Blue's Clues to figure it out. On the way, we
help our friend Tickety Tock put herself back together, pattern clothes in
Steve's closet, and help the Lion Prince find and identify his jungle friends
visually and through their sounds.
103 Mailbox's Birthday
It's our friend Mailbox's birthday, and we need to figure out what his
favorite birthday party game is. We complete the sprinkle patterns on his
birthday cake and find the best present for Mailbox, and then wrap it with
different-colored wrapping paper and different-size bows.
104 Blue's Story Time
It's story time, and Blue wants to read her favorite, favorite story, so we
play Blue's Clues to figure it out. Couched between the clues, we help Shovel
and Pail act out "Jack and Jill," put our photo album in order, and help the
three bears choose which bowl and cup belongs to whom.
105 What Does Blue Need?
As we discover what Blue needs, we take time to help Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper
find fruits by describing where they are in relation to each other. Then we
sort the laundry by putting clothes in the right places, and help a starfish
through a maze to find the ocean.
106 Blue's Favorite Song
It's song time, but first Blue and Steve listen to sounds and determine their
appropriate musical instruments, remember and repeat the line of a song, and
determine which chick is singing in tune to "Row, Row, Row Your Boat." Steve
and the children at home deduce what Blue's favorite song is.
107 Adventures in Art
Blue and Steve are ready to begin painting. We play Blue's Clues to figure
out what else Blue wants to paint in her picture. Along the way we label and
mix colors, construct a boat out of shapes with the Felt Friends, and visit
an art museum where we sequence a set of pictures on display.
108 Blue Goes to the Beach
Steve and Blue are going to the beach! In this episode we decide what clothes
would be most appropriate to wear to the beach, and experiment with physics
in a game of sink or float with Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper. Then, we help sea
creatures find their way back to the playground by matching their shapes with
the coral reef.
109 Pretend Time
It's pretend time and we need to figure out what Blue wants to pretend to be.
Along the way, we locate cloud shapes, determine the best objects to play
pretend house with Shovel and Pail, and go on a jungle safari to locate
animals with various attributes!
110 A Snowy Day
It's a snowy day and we need to figure out what Blue wants to do in the snow.
As we find her clues, we also match snowflakes with Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper,
help a Calendar Friend fix her mixed-up weather picture, and help Steve
remember what's missing on Blue as she gets ready to go outside.
111 The Trying Game
Blue wants to practice, but practice what? In addition to finding Blue's
Clues, we practice telling time with Tickety Tock, and we figure out what
Baby Bear wants to be when she grows up. Then we predict what tadpoles,
caterpillars and a spider will look like when they grow up.
112 Blue Wants to Play a Game
Blue wants to play a game, and we play Blue's Clues to figure out which one.
Along the way, we put together a jigsaw puzzle with Shovel and Pail, find
Blue among other Blue objects, and remember our way to the gingerbread boy's
house to play a game with him.
113 What Does Blue Want to Do Outside?
We play Blue's Clues to figure out what Blue wants to do outside. As we look
for clues, we stop to learn the process of where orange juice comes from with
Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper. Next, we investigate the elements of length and
volume by comparing inchworms and puddles with Shovel and Pail. Finally, we
categorize fruits and vegetables by where they grow with the Felt Friends.
114 Blue Wants to Play a Song Game
We play Blue's Clues to figure out which song game Blue wants to play. Along
the way, we sing and complete the gestures with Steve and a Sock Monkey and
play If You're Happy and You Know It with Tickety Tock. We also determine,
through audio and visual elements, which sea creature is dancing to the
rhythm of rain, wind and waves.
115 What Does Blue Want to Make
Blue and Steve just finished making newspaper hats, and Blue wants to make
something else. We play Blue's Clues to figure out what Blue wants to make.
Along the way, we complete patterns in Salt and Pepper's picture, predict
pictures that the Felt Friends are making shape by shape, and bake a banana
cake in a bakery!
116 What Story Does Blue Want to Play?
Blue and Steve just finished putting on a play, and we play Blue's Clues to
figure out what other story Blue wants to play. We also help storybook
characters by naming the book they belong in and then identifying that book
among other books. Then we help Steve follow the story in a play directed by
Bunny.
117 What Is Tickety's Favorite Nursery Rhyme?
Blue, Steve and Tickety are going to read Tickety Tock's favorite nursery
rhyme ... but which one is it? We play Blue's Clues to figure it out. Along
the way, we practice alliteration with Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper, solve
analogies with our race-car friend, and help Sheep finish her rhyming poem.
118 What Is Blue Afraid Of?
Blue is scared, and we play Blue's Clues to determine what's frightening her.
As we search for clues, we investigate shadows and conceptualize what objects
are making them, decipher extreme close-up photos taken by Mr. Salt and Mrs.
Pepper, and label the source of scary sounds within a haunted house!
119 Magenta Comes Over
Blue has a play-date with her best friend Magenta. We play Blue's Clues to
determine what Blue wants to do when Magenta comes over. In addition to
finding Blue's Clues, we identify and categorize footprints in the backyard
with Shovel and Pail, we explore the concept of opposites with Mr. Salt and
Mrs. Pepper, and we help the Felt Friends pick out costumes by making
associations.
120 Blue's News
Blue has big news, and we play Blue's Clues to figure out what it is. First,
we come upon Shovel and Pail and help them decide where to go next in their
treasure hunt by making inferences with pictures. Next, we solve riddles with
the Felt Friends. Finally, we actively create an environment as we deliver a
message to Slippery's friend.
SECOND SEASON
201 Steve Gets the Sniffles
Steve has the sniffles, and we play Blue's Clues to figure out what Blue
thinks Steve needs to feel better. In the kitchen, we categorize healthy
snacks with Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper. We have a quick check-up with our
"Doctors" Shovel and Pail. Then we jump into a book and recall and predict
the outcome of a story about a little girl who gets a cold after being caught
in the rain.
202 What Does Blue Want to Build?
We play Blue's Clues to figure what Blue wants to build. Along the way, we
label what our popsicle stick friends are making, and we measure dribble
castles with Shovel and Pail and help make their castles even. Then we help
our friend Tink get down from his contraption by manipulating his
environment.
203 Blue's Senses
Blue leaves tactile, visual and audio clues for us, and we play Blue's Clues
to figure out what Blue wants to play next. First, we figure out what items
are under the bed through a description of an object's textures. Next, we
play a clean-up game of "Lights on! Lights off!", where we detect which toy
has been put away while the lights were out. Then we jump into a CD -ROM game
where we listen to sounds and determine their source.
204 What Experiment Does Blue Want to Try?
Blue and Steve are experimenting by playing sink and float, and then Blue
wants to try another experiment. We play Blue's Clues to figure out which
experiment Blue wants to try next. While looking for her clues, we examine
items outside through a magnifying glass in "Extreme Close-Up" and then
label the objects. Then we experiment with gravity and remember the
characteristics and correct order of the planets in outer space through a
song.
205 What Does Blue Want to Make out of Recycled Things?
Blue and Steve are busy cleaning up. Steve starts to throw things away, but
Blue decides to use these old things to make something new. We play Blue's
Clues to figure out what Blue wants to make out of recycled things. Along the
way, we sort thrown-away items into the appropriate recycling bins, we figure
out what item Tickety can make out of recycled items, and then we visit
Recycle Town and identify how to recycle items so they are put to use.
206 What Was Blue's Dream About?
Blue had a dream, and we play Blue's Clues to figure out what Blue's dream
was about. As we look for Blue's Clues, we figure out what Slippery's dream
was about and how he changed it. We discover what Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper
dreamed Paprika grew up to be from their visual clues, and we change Sleeping
Beauty's dream from a scary scene into a party.
207 Blue's ABCs
Steve and Blue are taking turns reading, and we play Blue's Clues to figure
out what book Blue wants to read next. Along the way, we help Mr. Salt and
Mrs. Pepper find the items on their grocery list by reading and locating the
item on the grocery shelves. Next, we identify items around the house by
letter. Then we jump into a storybook and figure out the correct order of
words to make sentences through visual and contextual clues.
208 Math
Steve and Blue are making a list of things they need to get at the store.
Steve needs a new crayon. Blue wants to buy something, too. We play Blue's
Clues to figure out what she wants to buy. As we look for Blue's Clues, we
count our steps. We count piles of apples with Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper,
figuring out who has more. Next, we count how many graham crackers Shovel and
Pail have individually, and then we count all the graham crackers. Last, we
jump into "The Present Store" and figure out which items we can buy with
seven Blue dollars.
209 Blue's Birthday!
A very special episode where everyone's invited to Blues big event! We play Blue's
Clues to figure out what present Blue wants for her birthday. We help Steve
put the finishing touches on the party decorations: putting sprinkles on the
cupcakes, arranging balloons and streamers, and setting the table. We take a
special visit to the present store to pick out a present for Blue. As the
guests arrive, all of Blues friends gather around for present time in the
backyard, where we unwrap a present and see what's inside.
210 What Does Blue Want To Do With Her Picture?
Blue drew a picture and we play Blue's Clues to figure what Blue wants to do with it.
Along the way we solve problems by breaking them into small steps. We play "detective"
to figure out who left a trail of ice cream evidence. We help Frederique Felt get
dressed in the right order, and we jump into the bakery to help Bowl and Spatula
sequence their banana muffin recipe.
211 What Does Blue Want To Do on a Rainy Day?
As it starts to rain, Steve and Blue discover that the raindrops sound like music.
Blue decides she would like to do something musical, so we play Blue's Clues to figure
out what Blue wants to do on this rainy day. As we go through the house, we find music
and tap beats. We help Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper make water xylophones and we skidoo into
the farm to match animals with her friends, based on the songs they sing.
212 Blue's Surprise at Two O'Clock!
Blue has a surprise for us, but it won't be ready until 2 o'clock. We play Blue's
Clues to figure out what the surprise is. Using our watch, we time activities and
discover the difference between seconds and minutes. We help Tickety Tock practice
telling time, and then play Grandfather Clock's race against time.
213 The Lost Episode!
We play Blue's Clues to figure out where Blue was when she lost her back pack. Guided
by a hand saying -- "Go back, go back, go back to where you were!" -- we help Shovel
and Pail find their lost toys, then jump into a game board to help Felix find the
things he lost on his way to school.
214 Blue's Sad Day
Something is making Blue sad, so we play Blue's Clues to figure out what it is.
Along the way, we help our Felt Friends label their feelings and we skidoo into Blue's school
to help her classmates figure out how to resolve difficult situations and emotions.
215 What Game Does Blue Want To Learn?
We play Blue's Clues to figure out what game Blue wants to learn. In the meantime we
solve number problems, practice learning our lefts from our rights, and jump into the
felt board to play tic-tac-toe with O-Friend. Then we go to the backyard for a mathematical
and strategic game of Mother May I?
216 What Did Blue See?
It's Blue's Clues from a whole new perspective! We play Blue's Clues to figure out what
Blue saw. Along the way, we see things through mirrors and kaleidoscopes, from up above
and down below. Then we jump into Squirrel Park and need to figure which animal is
speaking, based on their description of what they see.
217 Nurture!
We help Steve and Blue take care of their plants, and now there's something else that we
need to do. We play Blue's Clues to figure out what it is. Along the way we find a
butterfly and figure out what it needs. Then we help take care of Baby Paprika while
Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper are away. Finally we skidoo into a safari book and help
animals get home so they can take a bath in their respective habitats.
218 Blue Is Frustrated
Something is frustrating Blue, so we play Blue's Clues to figure out what it is. We
learn to "Stop, take a deep breath, and think" when we find ourselves in frustrating
situations. This comes in handy when Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper get frustrated as they
prepare for a picnic. We also jump into a pinball game and help Steve as he gets
frustrated trying to release the ball. Then we help Shovel and Pail balance their
teeter totters.
219 What Is Blue Trying To Do?
Blue wants to show us something she's been trying to do, so we play Blue's Clues to figure
out what it is. Along the way we work on a jigsaw puzzle that Steve shows us, help
Slippery Soap try to blow different size bubbles and help Baby Bear clean her room so
she can find a collage she made for her mom and dad.
220 Mechanics!
We help Steve and Blue fix their broken toy plane. There's something else to fix, so we
play Blue's Clues to figure out what it is. Along the way we help Shovel and Pail figure
out how ramps work, practice using a tape recorder, and then jump into a picture of a park
where we help characters figure out how their bikes, trikes, and cars work.
THIRD SEASON
301 Art Appreciation
We are having a big art show, and we play Blue's Clues to figure out what Blue is making
for the show. As we search for clues, we help Steve with his art projects, we locate the
fish in our friends' pictures and figure out what Shovel and Pail sculpted. Then we skidoo
into an art book and help three characters find their way back to the paintings they
belong in, based on their color, shape and line.
302 Weight and Balance
We play Blue's Clues to figure out what Blue wants to do. Throughout the day, with help
of our scale friends, we compare the weight of objects and determine which are heavy and
which are light. First we help Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper compare the weight of their
groceries, predicting which of two items is heavier. Then we skidoo to the country store
to help Bell find the lightest items for her customers.
303 Geography
Using maps to guide our travels, we play Blue's Clues to figure out where Blue wants to go.
First, using a map of the Blue's Clues neighborhood, we help Shovel and Pail figure out
which buildings would be best suited for specific errands. Then we skidoo into a game
board and navigate a map in order to find Blue, choosing the appropriate forms of
transportation to get there.
304 What's That Sound
Blue hears something that we can't hear, so we play Blue's Clues to figure out what
it is. Led by our ears, we help Shovel and Pail follow the path a gopher took in the
woods, based on the sounds he makes. Then we skidoo into a movie which has no sound
and figure out which sound to add, based on the actions we see.
305 Signs
Guided by signs and symbols around the house, we play Blue's Clues to figure out where
Blue wants to have her snack. Along the way we read signs in the back yard which lead
us to shovel and we skidoo into a storybook and help Steve interpret Jill and Carly's
story by reading sign language.
306 Thankful
We're having a big feast to celebrate the things we're thankful for, and we play
Blue's Clues to figure out what Blue is thankful for. Along the way, we help Mr.
Salt and Mrs. Pepper prepare for the feast by figuring out which foods are salty,
sweet and sour. Then we skidoo to the felt board to help our Felt Friends share
their food by dividing it into portions.
307 Hide and Seek
Steve and Blue are playing Hide 'n' Seek and it's Blue's turn to hide. We play
Blues Clues to figure out where Blue wants to hide. While searching for clues, we
help the Felt Friends find objects by looking at their shapes, colors, sounds and functions. Then we skidoo into completely blue storybook and have to find Blue to figure out her favorite part of the story. (**ask AW**)
308 Animal Behavior
We play Blue's Clues to figure out what animal Blue wants to learn about. Throughout the episode we learn about different animal behaviors by observing the animals and pretending to be them. Using our animal book, we help Shovel, Pail, and Paprika figure out why their favorite animals do what they do. Then we skidoo into a submarine to find camouflaged fish and figure out why they are hiding.
309 Occupations
All of our friends are pretending to be different occupations, and we play Blue's Clues to figure out what Blue wants o be. We help Steve, who is pretending to be a reporter, figure out what occupation our various friends are pretending to be. Then we skidoo into a picture and help Door build his house by calling on the right workers to complete their appropriate tasks.
310 Anatomy
Steve discovers his heart beats with a stethoscope -- and Blue has discovered something too. We play Blue's Clues to figure out what Blue has discovered. We visit an anatomy Internet site and help Cursor locate various body parts, based on their descriptions. We then skidoo into a science lab to help Sarah Scientist identify internal organs through her x-ray machine.
311 Blue's Big Treasure Hunt
BLUE'S BIG TREASURE HUNT leads us to unlock doors we have not seen before and leads us to skidoo into a land where we meet characters (celebrity guest stars!) from our favorite stories. We meet Little Miss Muffet, Snow White and Jack Be Nimble. These characters lead us deeper into our adventure and help us to discover BLUE'S BIG TREASURE HUNT..
312 Pool Party
Oh no! It's a hot summer day and Blue and Steve are composing a list of friends to invite to our pool party, but there's someone we forgot to invite! We play Blue's Clues to figure out who's missing from our list. All day long we use our memory skills to prepare for the party -- remembering which friends to invite and help Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper and Paprika with the party food by identifying which ingredients they forgot to add to their sundaes. Then, we skidoo into a card matching game and help Joker Card remember where the matches are for each of his cards.
313 Draw Along With Blue
It's a draw-along episode, and we play Blue's Clues to figure out what Blue wants to draw. Along the way, we meet Marky the Marker and identify which of our friends he is using simple shapes to draw. We hunt for clues and skidoo into a chalkboard where we help Chalk Girl draw shapes and figure out what pictures they form in order to illustrate her story.
314 Nature
We spend the entire episode outdoors enjoying nature and playing Blue's Clues to figure out what Blue wants to play outside. In the backyard, we identify herbs and help Mr. Salt and Paprika put together a surprise bouquet for Mrs. Pepper. Then we join Steve for a nature walk and play a game of "I Spy" where we spot different plants and animals. Later we skidoo into a nature book and help our friend Windy figure out which season she is in and what belongs there.
315 Inventions
We're playing Blue's Clues because we want to know what Blue invented. Steve wants to invent something, too, but he keeps inventing things that already exist! We play the Information Card Game and help Shovel and Pail place inventions in historical order. Then we skidoo into an invention book where we help figure out what new forms of transportation various inventors are sketching.
316 What's So Funny?
Something kind of silly's going on at Steve and Blue's house and we play Blue's Clues to figure out what makes Blue laugh. Characters and objects pop up in funny places, as does the mischievous Gopher in our backyard. We help Shovel and Pail discover the method behind Gopher's madness by figuring out where he will pop up next and then skidoo into a pop-up book, where we meet Billy Chicken, renowned mayor of Silly Town. With our help, Mayor Chicken and his silly constitutions spot the mixed-up things in their town.
317 Environments
Steve and Blue are going on a big trip! We play Blue's Clues to figure out where Blue wants to go. As we search for clues, we pack for our trip and learn about new environments. We skidoo into a globe where we meet Mother Nature and, using our ability to identify aspects of different environments, help her finish her song. Next, our friends all create their favorite environments and we use our memory of Mother Nature's song to help us figure out what they are.
318 Blue's Big Costume Party
It's the day of Blue's costume party and lots of si;t spooky things are happening! Magenta doesn't have a costume, so we play Blue's Clues to help her figure out what to wear. All day long out friends come visit in their costumes and we have to use our observation skills to figure out who they are. Meanwhile, we count beanbags to help Blue and Magenta determine who won their game of Monster Toss and skidoo into a picture of a haunted house, where we help our friend Boo observe, think and test ides so we can find Oogullah Buggla.
319 Blue's Big Pajama Party
It's a special nighttime game of Blue's Clues to figure out what Blue wants to do tonight. As we search for clues (trying not to yawn!) we join Shovel and Pail for a game of Flash-'n'-Find and learn about the animals who are awake while we sleep. Donning our blanket-capes, we become brave Pajamanauts and skidoo into space where we meet the Sun, the Earth, and the Moon, who help us figure out why there's night. Back home, we get ready for bed, snuggle up in our sleeping bags and fall asleep.
